Marc Armstrong
Executive Director of the Public Banking Institute (PBI), formed in January 2011.  Before then Marc worked for IBM Finance and provided business development services to SAP development partners.  PBI is a national educational non-profit organization working to achieve the implementation of public banking at all levels of the American economy and government: local, regional,state, and national. As part of the New Economy movement, PBI advances innovative short and long-term solutions to the damage caused by the Wall Street cartel and a dysfunctional banking system.  We are regularly called on to provide expertise in subjects as diverse as bank capitalization, applicable banking regulation, governance, loan portfolio makeup, risk management and the newly proposed U.S. Postal Savings Bank.

Founder of Step Into My Green World, Sophie is a green and healthy living expert and gives green living seminars nationwide.  Before launching Step Into My Green World, Sophie was the President of SophiSticate Interiors, a prominent design firm in San Francisco.  During her career as a designer she saw the need and demand for Green Design grow. She also won the Best of 2012 Houzz award for her green design.  Her background, the need for green and healthy living combined with her passion, fueled her to launch Step Into My Green World. Her goal is to share what she knows with the world, that going green is not only important but simple and the healthy way to go.

A Green columnist and award-winner for National publication the Examiner, she is also the contributing editor for various medias. Since being awarded a City Proclamation by Lieutenant Governor and former San Francisco Mayor, Gavin Newsom and the press that followed, Sophie has been called upon by many non-profits, Green and Eco-friendly companies to represent them and spread their mission.  She is a board director of Earth Day San Francisco, a member of Global Green USA and the Sustainable Furnishings Council.

Darian Rodriguez Heyman

Darian co-founded the only conference series in the country devoted to social media for social good, Social Media for Nonprofits, which educates social sector leaders on how to advance fundraising, marketing, advocacy, and recruitment efforts online. Previously, he served as Executive Director of Craigslist Foundation (2004 – 2008) and served as a Commissioner for the Environment for the City and County of San Francisco.  He is the author of the best-selling book, Nonprofit Management 101: A Complete and Practical Guide for Leaders and Professionals (Jossey-Bass), and is a public speaker that provides strategy, messaging, and fundraising consulting for nonprofits and green economy organizations.

As co-founder of Campaign for Safe Cosmetics and author of the award-winning book,  "Not Just a Pretty Face: The Ugly Side of the Beauty Industry.” She is a leading expert on toxic chemicals in beauty products and chemical regulatory policies, and she is  frequently interviewed by major media outlets including the New York Times, USA Today and Washington Post. Television appearances include Good Morning America, ABC 7 Chicago, Democracy Now! and ABC’s View from the Bay.Stacy has become a leading activist in the Right To Know G.M.O. labeling campaign
